• Mobile OTP and email OTP verification records.
• Delivery address, billing address and service location.
• Product selected, rental duration, coupon used, monthly rent, refundable security deposit, taxes, delivery charges and order history.
• Payment status, transaction reference, invoice details, refund details, deposit refund details and billing history.
• KYC details and verification status.
• Aadhaar verification status, masked Aadhaar reference, Aadhaar-linked verification result or other verification output received through Digio or another verification service provider, where applicable.
• Additional ID proof such as PAN, driving licence, passport, voter ID or other submitted document.
• Student ID or institution proof where a student offer is claimed.
• Address proof, employment/student/business details, references or other verification documents where required.
• Delivery and return records, device handover proof, geo-tagged photographs, customer house/nameplate photographs, device condition photographs and customer acknowledgment.
• Support tickets, complaints, service requests, messages, call notes and communication history.
• Device condition logs, damage reports, return inspection records, deposit deduction records and recovery records.
• Website usage data, IP address, browser/device information, cookies, analytics data, security logs and fraud-prevention signals.
• B2B inquiry information such as company name, designation, business email, phone number, requirements and communication history.

3. Purpose of Processing

We process personal data for the following purposes:

• Account creation, OTP authentication and user dashboard access.
• Product rental checkout, payment collection, invoicing, refundable security deposit collection and refund processing.
• KYC verification, Aadhaar/Digio verification, document review and manual approval.
• Student offer eligibility verification.
• Fraud prevention, risk assessment, asset protection and prevention of misuse.
• Delivery scheduling, address verification, handover, installation, support, return and recovery.
• Monthly billing, payment reminders, rental extension and active rental management.
• Deposit refund processing, deposit deduction assessment and account closure.
• Device condition tracking, damage assessment, loss/theft handling and dispute resolution.
• Customer support, ticketing, complaints and service communication.
• B2B inquiry handling, quotations and sales follow-up.
• Compliance with legal, tax, accounting, audit, regulatory and law-enforcement requirements.

4. Aadhaar and Digio Verification

Where Aadhaar-based verification is used, it may be conducted through Digio or another verification service provider.

Aadhaar-based verification will be used for identity verification, fraud prevention, rental risk assessment, delivery security and asset protection.

We will seek appropriate consent before Aadhaar-related processing. We will aim to avoid unnecessary collection or storage of full Aadhaar numbers. Where Aadhaar copies are processed or stored, we should use masked or redacted copies wherever feasible.

If Aadhaar verification is not possible or not preferred, Techflu may provide alternative KYC options, subject to internal risk policy and applicable law.

5. Additional ID Proof

Customers may be required to upload one additional valid ID proof. This helps Techflu verify identity, reduce fraud risk and protect rented assets.

Uploaded ID documents may be manually reviewed by Techflu's authorised admin team or processed through verification service providers.

6. Student Verification

If a customer uses a student coupon or student offer, Techflu may collect and review student ID card, institution-issued proof, enrolment proof or other eligibility documents.

Student documents will be used only for verifying eligibility, fraud prevention, audit and dispute handling.

7. Delivery and Geo-Tagged Evidence

At delivery and return, Techflu may collect geo-tagged photographs, customer house/nameplate images, device images, handover proof, return proof and condition records.

This information is used for delivery confirmation, address verification, asset tracking, audit, fraud prevention, damage assessment, deposit refund or deduction decisions, dispute resolution and recovery.

8. Payment and Refund Data

Techflu may process payment, billing, refundable security deposit and refund-related information through payment gateways, banks or financial service providers.

We may maintain records of deposit collection, deposit refund, deductions, unpaid rent, damage charges, invoices, credit notes, receipts and settlement history for accounting, audit, tax, legal and dispute-resolution purposes.

9. Legal Basis and Consent

We process personal data where it is necessary for rental services, customer-requested actions, contract performance, legal compliance, legitimate business purposes, fraud prevention, asset protection or where you have provided consent.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent, but this may affect our ability to provide rental, KYC, delivery, billing, deposit refund, support, recovery or account services.

10. Sharing of Personal Data

We may share personal data with:

• Payment gateways, banks and financial service providers.
• Digio or other KYC, identity verification, document verification and fraud-prevention providers.
• Delivery, installation, repair, maintenance and support personnel or vendors.
• Cloud hosting, storage, email, SMS, WhatsApp, CRM, analytics, ticketing and IT service providers.
• Auditors, legal advisers, insurers, accountants, collection or recovery partners.
• Government, regulatory, law-enforcement, tax, judicial or statutory authorities where required.
• B2B customers, employers, institutions or authorised representatives where the rental is arranged through them.

We do not sell personal data.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative and physical safeguards to protect personal data. These may include access controls, encryption where appropriate, secure document storage, OTP controls, audit logs, role-based admin permissions, backups and internal review procedures.

No system is completely secure. Customers must also protect their login credentials, OTPs and devices.

12. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for rental performance, active account management, KYC verification, asset protection, fraud prevention, legal compliance, tax/accounting, audit, dispute resolution and business records.

KYC documents, Aadhaar-related records, student documents, delivery photos, return photos, device condition records, deposit refund records and deduction records will be deleted, anonymised or archived when no longer required, subject to legal, contractual, audit and dispute-related retention needs.

13. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, completion, updating, deletion, withdrawal of consent or grievance redressal regarding your personal data.

We may verify your identity before acting on your request. We may retain certain data where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, rental, recovery, audit, deposit settlement or dispute-resolution purposes.

14. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies for website functionality, security, analytics, preference management, performance improvement and marketing measurement.

You may control cookies through browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect website functionality.

15. Children

Our rental services are intended for adults legally competent to contract. We do not knowingly rent to minors. If any minor-related data is processed, appropriate parent or guardian consent will be required as per applicable law.

Our technology, cloud, analytics, communication or service providers may process personal data in India or other jurisdictions, subject to applicable safeguards and legal requirements.

If a personal data breach affects your data, Techflu will take reasonable steps to assess, contain and respond to the incident, and notify affected persons or authorities where required by applicable law.
